Hand pleated silk dress by Patricia Lester is a wearable piece of a beautiful beach day. Lustrous silk is accordion pleated and dyed by hand, transforming the fabric into a fluid silhouette that moves with the body, bringing to mind rippling seagrass waving through the ocean. Pullover style silk bound neckline is accented with tiny iridescent seed beads and gracefully drapes across the body, ending in a midi length. Slight variations in color throughout, appearing as natural ocean washes due to dying technique. We would wear lightly cinched with a chain belt to slightly define the waist, channeling our inner mermaid goddess. Sage green, moss, iridescent oil slick.
